Come learn from Daniel Burke, President of Burke Financial Group, as he shares an overview of the unique aspects of financial wellness for physicians.
This financial wellness program provides physicians in training additional skills to help focus on learning the practice of medicine. It includes general topics like student loans, cash management, insurance, and retirement as well as savings and investment strategies. The program is not a solicitation or sales pitch, but an informational session about personal financial wellness designed specifically to address the unique needs of physicians in training.

Daniel Burke is the owner and President of Burke Financial Group, LLC, providing personal, business, and estate planning. Daniel spent over three years as a Partner for a Fortune 100 company, where he was twice named Partner of the Year in 2011 & 2012. In 2016, he became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an industry wide organization recognizing the top producers in the world. After gaining valuable expertise in the financial field, he had the desire to start a practice servicing all financial needs, from basic to sophisticated planning.
Daniel grew up in Middle Tennessee and earned a BSBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He lives in Nashville with his wife Liz, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with her Masters and Doctorate from Vanderbilt University. His community involvement includes volunteering with various non- profits and his local church. Away from the office, he loves to exercise and travel with his family.

Pizza and Politics includes a presentation by TMA Grassroots Manager Rebecca Lofty Woods, highlighting how TMA’s legislative priorities are set, followed by a panel Q&A with Representatives John Ray Clemmons, Harold Love, and Jason Powell.

TMA’s annual policy briefing and lobby day in Nashville connects physicians directly with lawmakers so they can advocate for their patients and discuss major issues affecting the medical profession in Tennessee.

Join NAM and member Bob Neaderthal, MD for an educational session on getting effective prior authorization and avoiding peer to peer calls.
During this session, Dr. Neaderthal will teach attendees how to avoid prior authorization calls for advanced imaging studies such as CT, MRI, PET scans and nuclear cardiac tests. Prior authorization and peer-to-peer calls have become two of the most cumbersome and time-consuming administrative burdens that providers face in their practices every day and most peer-to-peer calls are avoidable.
Dr. Neaderthal combines 30 years of solo internal medicine practice in Nashville with 8-years as a medical director for the largest prior authorization company in the US to offer a unique perspective in helping physicians avoid administrative hassles. He provides personal lectures and webinars to physician groups and local and national medical associations on “How to Avoid Peer-to-Peer Calls.”
