ICD-10 Coding Camps by Specialty
You pass or fail on Oct. 1.
It’s time to cram.
The Tennessee Medical Association and the Knoxville Academy of Medicine are delivering an exclusive workshop series across the state this summer to help providers transition to ICD-10.
This is not another overview. This is not a lecture.
This is a hands-on billing and coding immersion workshop where participants will practice the actual ICD-10 exercises that will be required after October 1.

Camps will be led by certified ICD-10 trainers from the American Academy of Professional Coders, the nation’s largest training and credentialing organization for medical coding, billing, auditing, and compliance.
Course material is specific:
Family Medicine (8 hours of CEU)
Cardiology (4 hours of CEU)
OB/GYN (4 hours of CEU)
Internal Medicine (8 hours of CEU)
Orthopaedics (8 hours of CEU)
Pediatrics (8 hours of CEU)
Multispecialty (8 hours of CEU)
*The content covered in this course assumes a basic to intermediate understanding of diagnostic coding.
All 8 hour classes will run from 8AM to 5PM.
OB/GYN will run from 8AM to 12PM.
Cardiology will run from 1PM o 5PM.
Lunch for ALL classes will be at noon.
