Join NAM/TMA Member Brent Moody, MD as he leads a discussion of the benefits of engaging with organized medicine and how physicians can engage with legislators to positively impact healthcare.

Brent Moody, MD, FACP, FAAD, has extensive experience with organized medicine at the local, state, and national levels. He has served the local dermatology community as Chairman of the Tennessee Dermatology Society and treasurer of the Nashville Dermatology Society. Dr. Moody is also an active member of the Nashville Academy of Medicine and the Tennessee Medical Association, which has included service on the IMPACT Board of Directors both as chair and as a director. On the national level, he has served as the Chairman of the Public Policy Committee of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is currently running for the Tennessee House of Representatives 56th District seat.
Dr. Moody completed his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed a residency program in both internal medicine and dermatology at the Washington University School of Medicine Barnes-Jewish Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery with Dr. George Hruza at the Laser and Dermatologic Surgery Center in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Moody is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and has been practicing in Nashville since 2003, specializing in dermatologic surgery. Dr. Moody obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William and Mary. In addition to his practice, he also has consulted on medical coding and reimbursement and was an assistant professor.
