Promoting Resources and Opportunities
for Supporting Physician Engagement and Resilience
What is PROSPER?
Life is not just about powering through, it is about prospering in every way to live your best life. It's about having a safe harbor to empower and equip you with the tools to take care of yourself...just like you take care of your patients.
Why PROSPER?
We all want to prosper - at work, at home, and in our personal lives. Research upon research cites physician burnout as a serious health concern. The statistics of burnout among physicians in some studies are as high as 63%. Our members need a confidential resource to help them cope and heal.
In response to this growing concern, the Nashville Academy of Medicine and the Medical Foundation of Nashville have launched PROSPER to provide resources and support and to encourage Middle Tennessee physicians to reach out before they are in crisis.
PROSPER: Physician Well-Being Resources
We have gathered articles and videos specific to physicians to help our physician members and volunteers as they navigate toward a stronger place of well-being.
