2024 Membership Investment
TMA and NAM know just how difficult it is to practice medicine in the chaos of today's healthcare environment. If you are a Nashville-area physician and not yet a member of the Nashville Academy of Medicine, we invite you to join your colleagues who are members and who rank among the 2,300 physicians in the Nashville Academy of Medicine. As your local medical society, we provide services, programs and activities designed to meet the professional and personal needs of member physicians, and we strive to maintain a proactive, member-driven approach in service to the profession and the community.
Since 1821 the Nashville Academy of Medicine (NAM) has been Nashville's professional organization of MDs and DOs. NAM is a component society of the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) and is also affiliated with the American Medical Association (AMA).
Membership is ‘unified’ meaning that your membership investment includes membership in both NAM and TMA. Membership is open to all physicians who either reside or practice in Davidson County. Once your application is approved by the membership committee and board, you will receive notification of your active status. A membership packet will be provided to you with information on the benefits and services of the NAM / TMA and your membership ID, and website login information.
