Why are you proud to be a physician?

It is a privilege to help women as they go through what for many of them is the worst time in their lives. To be able to support them as a doctor and often as a friend during this time is really a special honor and I love being able to be a part of their care.

Why are you proud to be a member of NAM & TMA?

I am proud to be a member of NAM and TMA because physicians need to continually advocate on behalf of our patients and NAM and TMA give us a great voice for this. As the immediate past-president of Tennessee Women in Medicine (TWM), I am especially happy that NAM and TWM have partnered together to promote and support female physicians in Nashville. This has been a big win for both groups!
