Why are you proud to be a physician?

My extended family includes more than 20 physicians. It is a great source of pride that so many in my family have chosen a profession that helps people live healthier and happier lives. I take particular pride in trying to improve the quality of cardiac care for patients locally and nationally.

Why are you proud to be a member of NAM & TMA? 

Organized medicine via local, state and national associations are critical to making sure the voices, ideas and ideals of physicians are conveyed to our legislators, our community and to our patients. These organizations are so crucial for appropriate advocacy for patients and physicians during this time of change in healthcare.
