Reopening Nashville:
On October 1, Nashville moved into a modified Phase 3. Click here to learn more. Nashville’s economy will open in four phases. Nashville will only move to the next phase if there is positive improvement/stability in the metrics for 14 days.
Wanting to Volunteer?
The volunteer medical mobilizer is being converted into a tool that registers clinical/non-clinical volunteers and those clinicians and staff seeking employment. Those who have availability to help meet growing staffing needs as a state can register here: https://www.tn.gov/health/cedep/cedep-emergency-preparedness/volunteer-mobilizer.html. This list will be increasingly utilized in the coming weeks. Clinical staff looking for employment are needed to care for COVID and non COVID patients as hospitals put plans into place to increase their capacity.
Donating PPE:
NAM is asking community members, including local businesses and individuals who are not involved in caring for COVID-19 patients, to donate new and unused medical and PPE that could protect doctors involved in the city’s response. Click here to learn more.

The Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 tracking map now reports U.S. data by city and county. The points on the U.S. map now display the numbers of confirmed cases and fatalities for each local jurisdiction in an effort to best inform the public and to aid health care and emergency workers responding to the crisis.
